Logitech Z337 Good Sound and Excellent Connectivity

Logitech’s Z337 speaker system is a welcome vision for anyone who craves the flexibility of playing audio from their PC and mobile device without constantly switching from one to the other. Unfortunately, while it’s getting easier to find 2.1 speaker systems for under $100, you’ll still have difficulty finding one with Bluetooth, like the Z337. And as long as you prioritize that suitability over high-fidelity sound reproduction, you’ll probably find these speakers worth the wait.

What About the Logitech Z337 Design

What About the Logitech Z337 Design

There’s nothing fancy about the Z337’s design. But Both satellites and also subwoofer are square and durable plastic with a matte black finish.

There is no ornamentation except for the Logitech logo on each cable.

Each satellite events 7.6 x 4.3 x 3.5 inches and weighs 1.4 pounds. Fabric-covered drivers sit more than halfway down the bottom of the enclosure, angled slightly upwards to direct sound toward the listener’s ears. Each satellite has its output cable wired into its back.

The subwoofer measures 9.1 x 9.1 x 6.2 inches and weighs 5.25 pounds. Its fabric-covered controller takes up most of the front of its case, and also a small port is on the left side. On the rear of the subwoofer is a 3.5mm jack, the satellite inputs, an RCA input, and a knob to control the bass output.

Instead of placing the controls on one of the satellites as many speaker systems do, Logitech has included wired remote plugs into the back of the subwoofer. This control unit has a power change, Bluetooth pairing button, and headphone jack all around the base, while the top doubles as a capacity dial.

Setup orders are printed on the inside flaps of the Z337 box, but the process is pretty intuitive. First, plug the satellites into the back of the subwoofer (plugs and sockets are color coded) and hit the subwoofer into a power outlet. Next, if your PC doesn’t have Bluetooth or you don’t want to use it, you’ll need to plug one end of the supplied 3.5mm audio cable into the headphone jack on your computer and the other end into the 3.5mm input on the back of the subwoofer. Then, turn on the power switch.
